Scott Eason
Contractor and Owner
Scott Eason was born and raised on the west coast of Florida. After receiving his Bachelor of Science from the M.E. Rinker Sr School of Construction Management at the University of Florida, he began his career as an Assistant Project Manager with Willis Smith Construction in Sarasota, FL.
Following his passion for the water and a desire to own his own company, Scott soon left and founded Eason Builders Group in 2011; specializing in residential construction and development of waterfront properties on Florida’s barrier islands. Scott is a Certified General Contractor, Certified Pool and Spa Contractor and a LEED Accredited Professional from the US Green Building Council.
Joey Azar
Project Manager
Joey joined EBG at the age of 21 and started by cleaning up job sites. He is a native of Sarasota and attended the State College of Florida.
From the moment he met Scott he took every opportunity to learn as much as possible and is now a leading project manager. Joey’s ability to problem solve and address any challenge thrown at him contributes to his productivity and success in his role at EBG. He will be pursuing his GC license in the near future to continue to grow. When he is not at work he enjoys cycling, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Kerry Wilkinson
Office Manager
Kerry was born & raised in Michigan and moved to Florida in the summer of 2012. She has been in the housing industry for over 20 years. With a Husband and Son-in-law in the construction business, it was just a matter of time before she joined the industry as well. She joined Eason Builders Group in Spring of 2022 as the Office Administrator, and she works to continuously improve the efficiency of each department for Eason Builders Group. Kerry resides in Palmetto with her husband and three dogs who occasionally can be found visiting the EBG office.

Eva was born and raised in New York, and prior to joining EBG, she was involved in multiple industries including commercial real estate and engineering. With an entrepreneurial mindset, she comes with over 25+ years of diverse experience in business development, management & financial acumen enabling her to be a valuable player on the Eason Builders Team. Working closely with the company leadership, Eva is responsible for overseeing accounting operations including payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable, financial reporting and analysis, planning and budgeting, and mediating strategic financial decisions. Eva holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Southeastern University in Lakeland Florida. Eva, her husband, and two cats reside in Lakewood Ranch. As outdoor enthusiasts, they enjoy traveling, kayaking, hiking, and photography.
Kachel Athanaze
Accounts Payable/Receivable
Kachel comes from the U.S. Virgin Islands with a background in Accounts Payable, before she later received her Bachelor’s with an Accounting Concentration at the University of the U.S. Virgin Islands. With experience working in Retail, Government Agencies, Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC as well as Waste Management, for Kachel the construction industry is the most exciting. One of the best parts of her job, she says, is “learning about the intricate stages of home construction and being a part of a great team who are always willing to assist and converge to get the job done.” She enjoys providing great customer service and assisting in maintaining a healthy, working relationship with our Subcontractors through proper account management. Outside of work, Kachel enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling abroad, music, dance, and exploring new ventures.

Julia, a Kentucky native, graduated with a Bachelors in Business Management and an Associate Degree in Fashion Design. Julia was introduced to home design and construction when her and her husband built their first home. Although her career was in insurance sales, when her family moved to Florida two years ago, she took the chance to change career paths. Luckily, she found a home here at Eason Builders Group.
In her spare time, Julia enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. They love to spend time at the beach or doing anything outdoors. They are also very active in dance, gym, soccer, and basketball.

Valerie Weaver
Operations Manager
Valerie was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama and now resides in Bradenton, Florida with her husband, step-son and son. She received her Master’s Degree from the University of Georgia and worked in the sports industry in event management and client services for over 10 years. She joined Eason Builders Group in February 2020 and now serves as the Operations Manager where she supervises the daily operations of each build. Valerie oversees a team of Project Managers, Project Coordinators and Designers to ensure everything is on site and ready when it is needed. She helps negotiate subcontractor agreements and manages job costs to ensure the budget is adhered to. Valerie most contributes to the team her drive and direct attention to keep projects moving forward, and her eagerness to learn the construction industry and specific trades.

Rick was born and raised in West Virginia where he had earned his Master Electrician license before moving to Florida in 1981. Rick has worked in the construction field for almost 40 years, with experience ranging from being a lead electrician, superintendent, product manager, construction manager and head of construction for a large custom builder in Tampa for over 16 years. In his role as Project Manager with Eason Builders Group, Rick prides himself on his communication skills, ensuring that all projected completion dates are met and/or exceeded, and his attention to detail, guaranteeing the highest satisfaction from clients. His love for building is evidenced in the relationships he builds and maintains with subcontractors, consultants, designers, and homeowners, alike. He lives in Palmetto with his wife and 3 dogs that sometimes you can find visiting the EBG office.

Christina was born in a small town in North Carolina and moved to the Bradenton area in the early 2000’s. She has had a passion for design and creativity since she was a young age. At Eason Builders Group she works alongside the lead designer on many of our projects in every stage of the design process. In her role as design assistant she is responsible for collaborating with Samantha to source and purchase furniture, lighting, decor and every other design element for the properties. She also helps to organize meetings with different vendors, manage receipts for purchase orders and assist with client presentations. When she’s out of the office, she’s in her role as a new mom and spending time with her husband Bryan. They love to travel, go fishing and enjoy their time being new mom and spending time with her husband Bryan.

Mason was locally born and raised in Sarasota, FL. Shortly after graduating from UCF with a degree in Business Management, Mason began working as a Construction Manager with a top national builder where he spent 3 years building homes in Parrish, FL. Building quality, beautiful homes is the only work Mason has ever been interested in, so he jumped right in when owner Scott Eason approached him. As a Project Manager for EBG, Mason enjoys working with our clients to turn their dream homes into a reality, and works with our team of Project Coordinators, the Architect, Interior Designer, and subcontractors to ensure the design is executed to the best of everyone’s ability and on time. When not at work, Mason enjoys fitness, reading, and making memories with his friends and family. Additionally, Mason has a passion for sports – soccer, endurance running and Fantasy Football.

Born and raised in London Ontario, Canada, Jeff was introduced to the residential construction industry as an assistant site supervisor for Reid’s Heritage Homes.
After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in business from the University of Western Ontario, Jeff was promoted to Project Coordinator for the same builder. In 2015 Jeff moved to Florida and was a site supervisor for CB Construction Group focusing on hotel and hospitality renovations.
In 2021 Jeff joined EBG as a project manager and his concentration and dedication have led to him running jobs smoothly and effectively. When he isn’t on job sites he enjoys boating on other people’s boats, fishing, and is hoping to learn how to play golf one day.

Born and raised in Manatee County, FL, Brandin Holcomb was involved in construction at a young age. Brandin’s father owned a steel company and if school was out, Brandin was in the shop with him. Growing up, Brandin spent all his free time playing baseball and basketball, and his true love football. After graduating from Palmetto High School, Brandin went to Mizzou where he accepted a football scholarship. Shortly after leaving school, Brandin began working for a local concrete company making precast stairs and landings. After 11 years in the concrete industry, Brandin accepted a position with a hurricane window and door company where he spent 5 years. Meeting builders on jobsites led him to a position at EBG. Brandin and his wife Elyse, share two children, Jayden (14) and Brylee (11). He is an avid golfer and fisherman and enjoys cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles with his family.

Growing up in the greater Boston area, J originally pursued a path in neuroscience and medical studies. While he balanced schooling and working as an anesthesia technician, J discovered his passion was elsewhere, in real estate and construction. He completed his baccalaureate degree in Construction Management at Wentworth University, working as a realtor and remodeler in the luxury residential market in greater Boston. After graduating, J moved down to Florida in 2021, and being a natural fit, he quickly joined the team in 2022 as a Project Manager with a focus around high-end custom home builds and luxury vacation rentals. J is dedicated to guiding each trade throughout the stages of the building process, ensuring an efficient and timely execution of high-quality workmanship. J is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys “S’mores” ice cream.

Desiring a change of pace, Elizabeth left the fitness industry to enter the field of construction as a Project Manager before joining the Eason Builders Group summer of 2022. In her role as Permitting Coordinator, Elizabeth uses her previous experience in customer service, organization & positive attitude to the team. She prides herself with ensuring all permits are turned in in a timely manner while making sure all parts of the company are aware of the standings of each permit.

Jillian Gardner is a Bradenton native who has been immersed in the Real Estate Development industry since childhood. Her parents held lifelong careers in commercial construction supplies & equipment distribution and real estate acquisition & sales. The exposure to hard work, solution oriented thinking and detailed execution are a few of the qualities engrained in her. Before joining the EBG team in January of 2019, Jillian worked as a Closing Agent for a title company giving her experience in coordinating all tasks necessary to meet a closing date. As a Permit Coordinator, her role spans from pre-development through permitting with local and state entities and ending by meeting all permit conditions to issue the coveted Certificate of Occupancy (‘CO’) on schedule. Outside of EBG, Jillian takes great joy in marriage to her husband Ray and is a certified yoga instructor.

Dawn was born and raised in Sarasota, graduating with an Associates Degree from St. Petersburg Jr. College. Over the last 20+ years she has held positions in Office Management, Administration, Accounts Payables/Receivables, Purchasing, and Marketing in the Real Estate and Construction Industries. Dawn works diligently to receive and process a high rate of incoming invoices for all of EBGS’s vendors and subcontractors. She has two kids and a dog that she spends her time with when she’s not working. She enjoys her annual trip to the Georgia/Tennesee mountains and being with friends and family.

Samantha is a Florida native, born and raised in Sarasota. She is a cum laude graduate of the CIDA accredited Interior Architecture & Design program at Florida State University. Prior to joining the team, Samantha has 6+ years of design experience where she worked for a local design firm and interned with a global architecture firm in Miami where she was challenged to expand on her skills and learned to build long lasting client relationships. Samantha enjoys coming up with curated design solutions to accommodate a client’s needs and wishes while always aiming to create functional and relatable environments. She revels in the design process and draws inspiration when she’s traveling in her free time from each city, building, and human interaction that she comes across.

An Anna Maria Island native, Kara was introduced to home design and construction at a young age. Coming from a family who love DIY projects, Kara gained experience including floor plan layout, framing bedrooms and building custom furniture for her own boutique. These experiences cultivated her interest to understand the building and design process. Prior to joining the EBG team Kara opened an eco-friendly clothing boutique/yoga studio/event space in Sarasota, FL. She excelled at logistics and managing inventory while learning to run her own business. Her attention to detail and dedication to customer service are skills that she brings to the Eason Builders team. In her free time Kara enjoys developing her personal business Fixxation, doing DIY projects with her fiance and going out on the boat with friends and family.
